How long to leave baby in a swing?

Just wondering how long other moms get out their babies in like a swing or rock and play device during the day? I would say my babe spends about 4-6 or more than hours a mean solar day in the swing considering information technology is the just place she volition nap likewise me or the rock and play. I was reading online moms should limit the fourth dimension babies are in swings to like two times a mean solar day for 30 mins. At present I am concerned.. she will not even lay in her bassinet for a infinitesimal then I don't have a lot of napping options and she pretty much sleeps most of the day! At night she sleeps with me in bed.. but sometimes she first falls comatose in the swing.. what about yous??

Hey, whatever works! My 5 week erstwhile spends nearly her time in the bounce chair as I have a toddler and so I can't be holding her all the time! She sleeps in the bassinet at nighttime though. I'thou going to set up my swing shortly to switch it upwardly (she was too small for it earlier)

The only thing I see incorrect with it is she may get too used to it and so that will be the only place she sleeps. I only put my LO in our swing maybe twice a mean solar day and she'll sometimes nap. If anything it atleast keeps her busy for a bit.

I accept a snuggle me, which is similar to a dockatot. And then she'll nap in there also. That'southward what we had in the bassinet for dark sleep for the first few weeks as she didn't like being swaddled and it still made her feel hugged.

I have literally wondered the same thing...my lo will but accept a nap in the swing during the twenty-four hours. She sleeps fine in her bassinet at night but won't sleep in information technology during the day. I experience guilty putting her in the swing, but when she is so tired and crying and I can't get her to take a nap i will put her in information technology and she will smile so large and go correct to sleep. It's similar she is telling me - woman, put me in the swing!! Lol

I put it on the everyman setting but I worry it's too much motion to exist in all day!!

Mine is in the mamaroo swing when I'm eatting. Otherwise she's held (Cus she loves being held).

I read that because of SIDS sleeping time should exist limited in car seats and swings etc to 2 hrs max. But, loads of people use them due to reflux etc. So just be careful I judge

My daughter is 8 weeks at present and she loves to be rocked, or lightly bounced, when going to sleep. My hubby and I did this ourselves for weeks, after she was born, and before long our backs and arms were in pain and cramping. We ended upwardly getting a rocking swing and it has been a life saver. When I know she is sleeping difficult, I turn of the move and just let her sleep away. If it works for your little one, practice it.
